You keep the last word on every answer

After matching, you see every question individually: which answer ESGelerate suggests, which earlier question it goes back to, and how clear-cut the match is. Anything that fits unambiguously is already filled in; anything uncertain is put to you for review.

For a customer's first questionnaire you map the question and answer columns once. ESGelerate recognises every further file from the same customer on its own.

Whatever format your customer prescribes

An Excel sheet, a PDF form, a Word document, an attachment from an email thread: ESGelerate reads in whatever reaches you and returns the answers in the same shape. Your customer gets back the document they asked for — same sheets, same columns, same order.

VSME as the foundation Since 3 July 2026, reporting-obligated large customers may, as a rule, no longer request data from suppliers with fewer than 1,000 employees that goes beyond the VSME standard. Your answer bank's categories follow exactly that standard.

Other tools produce one uniform sustainability report and count on recipients accepting it in that shape. In practice, the purchasing department usually insists on its own questionnaire. So ESGelerate enters your answers exactly where your customer expects to find them.

Your data stays in the EU

ESGelerate is operated in Germany. Your questionnaires and answers never leave the European Union — no transfer to third countries, no supplementary data-transfer agreements to negotiate.

Your past questionnaires are the starting point

Building up a data set otherwise starts with retyping. With ESGelerate you instead upload a questionnaire you answered previously: questions and answers are read out together and taken over once you have checked them. The work of past years becomes usable straight away.

Before you get started

Do I have to enter everything before it pays off?

No. You have almost certainly done the groundwork already. Upload a questionnaire you filled in some time ago: ESGelerate reads out the questions together with the answers you gave back then and proposes both for the answer bank. You assign each question to a category and approve it — nothing is saved before that.

Does ESGelerate invent answers?

No. Only what is already in your own answer bank gets suggested. For every suggestion you can see which earlier question it goes back to and how clear-cut the match is. No answer leaves the building without your approval.

What if a customer only asks for a VSME report?

Then a single report is often enough. But as soon as a customer prescribes their own Excel sheet, a rating portal, or a bank-specific form — the rule rather than the exception in practice — ESGelerate handles the transfer into exactly that document.

Do I have to commit long-term?

No. All tiers can be cancelled monthly and carry no setup fee. You can find the details on the pricing page.
